Water Resource Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Water Resource Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in water management systems and irrigation projects.

As a Water Resource Engineer at CBDA, you will work on critical projects that help manage and distribute water resources effectively across the Chad Basin region.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop water resource management systems and infrastructure
• Conduct hydrological studies and analysis of water flow patterns
• Prepare engineering reports, designs, and technical specifications
• Oversee the implementation of irrigation projects
• Monitor and evaluate water resource projects
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure project success
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in water resource management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in water resource management
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles and practices
• Experience with water resource modeling software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and project management skills
• Professional engineering license preferred
